The silence grows where love once bloomed,
A garden abandoned to thorn and stone.
Your voice, once heard, is now entombed.
The silence grows where love once bloomed.
I trace the years clothed in deepest gloom,
Each echo, now a ghost all alone.
The silence grows where love once bloomed,
A garden left to thorn and stone.
I forgave you so many years ago,
Forgiveness and letting go are the key.
Now it is your turn to learn and let go.
I forgave you so many years ago,
Life is so short to swim against the flow.
Forgiving heals, good for you and me,
I forgave you so many years ago,
Forgiveness and letting go are the key.
