I attended this workshop at Oldham Library, yesterday evening ( 22/01/26).
The lovely and talented Canadian poet, Rose Condo took us through some interesting and engaging exercises. We produced some profound and thought provoking writing as a result.
What better evening to share writing and food? The fish and chips and mushy peas went down well as did my friend's gluten free offering. There was tea, coffee, juice, water, red and white wine - we were spoiled for choice! Then we were treated to cake too. All this for £7!
Koruna from the library and the staff are to be commended for their organisation of this event. Inviting Rose back to the library was an inspired choice.
I met old friends, Carol and Geli, and hopefully made some new ones too. Writers when we get together are always good company and hopefully there will be an anthology of our work, thanks to Mark Binner's kind offer. Watch this space!
