About Poetry – How to Write a Cento or Found Poetry

There are many ways to write a CENTO or what is often referred to as "Found Poetry.''
1.  You can take lines from various poems and re-arrange them to write a new poem.
(SEE CENTO NO. 1 ON MY POSTS) You should always credit the poets from whom you have taken their lines.

2. You can take any book and decide to take the first sentence on the 10th page and every following 10th page until you reach either page 100 or page 120. Then rearrange them to make sense and a poem! Again please credit the book and author.

3.  Cut random words and phrases out if magazines and rearrange them to make a poem. You can stick them to the page to make it quite artistic, or even poison-pen like! 

I am sure there are more ways of making Cento poems, but these are the most well known to me.
