Yes, I think AI is useful for research and for creating images if I can’t take a picture myself or find an attributed photo on-line. I did ask Microsoft’s CoPilot to create a poem on acertain subject and while it had good syntax and grammar it lacked humanity. I recognised it because I am a poetbt I wonder if someone new to poetry would recognise it or even care?

As a writer, I hate AI. I work as a tech writer by day and I watch all these people use it instead of writing anything themselves and it’s a difficult edit because the fonts and all kinds of crazy junk it’s dumped into them when they use AI to generate their content. The only bit I use AI for is to tweak some images I put into my posts, but I will never ever create poetry stories, writings, essays, or anything using AI.
