resplendent colours
perfume the air

sea whispers
with each wave
calling me home

nestling among 
the haiku of others, 
hidden in plain sight

faith becomes stronger
with good intention, 
and heartfelt prayer

darkness softly falls
waning gibbous moon shines 
in the dark night sky

No  6
dreams of the sea
caws of seabirds, salty smell
on the summer air
