So, here we are in October. I do so love Autumn. The beautiful colours of the autumn leaves as they fall from the trees, even the chill in the air means I can wear one of my many pairs of boots. I love having warm, cosy feet.
I also find October bittersweet. My youngest son was born and also died in this month. This is a month when in particular I need to distract myself from falling over the edge into depression. So this year in the dreaded pandemic and year of not only national but local lockdowns too, I am writing. On here in this post, in my haikus, tankas and shadormas, in my daily affirmations, gratitude journal, good vibes and everything else blog related.
This month is also NaNoWriMo prep month so I am writing ideas on post-it notes and sticking them on a board above my desk. National Novel Writing Month is November and has been running for many years now. I have a new idea for my 50,000 words which I intend to write in November and I am feeling quite excited about it all.
It does mean all my other projects must go on the back burner in November, but what I am wondering is, should I schedule my time to within an inch of it’s life or should I just wing it?
Any help and/or advice on time management would be gratefully received. What do you think?
