Rhythmic clapping cuts
the expectant air, red dress,
the passion of dance.
The guitar strums, black
shoes stamp, dancer shapes pose,
flamenco passion.
Her body moulds to
the beat, her fingers shaped to
pluck apples from trees,
Head back in graceful
line, fingers holding her skirts -
reaches cresendo.
