Love and Light

Life is sadness,
so much death
and destruction, 
pollutes the air
we breathe. We feel
helpless against
such megalomania.
Even more, we need 
to hold onto
gratitude, being
grateful for what
we have. Small acts
of kindness cheer
our beleaguered souls.
Life breaks us all
but where we are
broken the light gets
in. Live in gratitude.
Live in kindness.
Be the light!
