RANDOM ACTS OF UNKINDNESS

This had me gripped from the start. I particularly liked the character of DS Jan Pierce. She is so real and down to earth and yet she has a touch of magic too; as she draws out the leads in the case and weaves them together in an effort to find her missing son.
The shocking conclusions she discovers are almost unthinkable. However, the shock and horror she discovers just keep on coming. I can't recommend this book enough. The author, Jacqueline Ward has excelled herself with this book. I can't wait to read the next one.
