THE BATTLE

I laugh at him when he tells me,
His true mission is to face the fire.
With trouble brewing, it was not
Going to be a piece of cake.
With swords clashing and fists flying,
And no space between combatants.
Only when the battle was won
Would we be able to look back
Review tactics and walk through
What worked and what did not.
