A cat's purr is a soothing sound
to both cat and human alike.
In and out, a cat is always around,
A cat's purr is a soothing sound.
A comfy bed where he can be found
asleep after a tree-clumbing hike.

Don't be fooled by that soft touch fur
or those slow blinking green eyes.
That zen-like stillness and quiet stare,

See a mouse and his claws are there
To taunt and kill in energetic highs!

Thanks Anthony, have fun with it. I like it’s simple 2 rhyme scheme and it’s repetition. The form – Triolet comes from 13th century France but was adopted by English writers and poets in the late 19th/early 20th century notably by the famous writer, Thomas Hardy ( He of the Far From the Madding Crowd fame) ❤️🦊✍️🌿❌️
