Lynda La Plante's The Scene of the Crime is an excellent, fast-paced story about a new phorensic crime unit set up by the Met Police.
Jessica Russell is a rising star as the MSCAN team leader and Mike Chapman, the experienced DI she works with.
There are lots twists and turns as Jessica tries to get her new team up and running with their first case.
I really enjoyed this story and look forward to book 2 in the series.
