She sighs as she ends her siren song.
All is still and she tries to feel centred.
But inside her silent screams invoke,
her curse upon her human husband.
Beneath  her human form her selkie
soul is knocking on doors that remain
closed; she feels lost and so alone.
Her young daughter cannot bear to
see her so unhappy and slips open
the lock on the chest that contains
her mother's true self and watches 
with tears in her eyes as she returns 
to the sea. Will they ever meet again?
