Daniel Sellers has written a gripping crime drama with The Knapdale Murders set in the Scottish Highlands.
I liked Anna, the main police character, and her small team, and the story moved along at a good pace.
I liked the descriptions of the places which made them come to life.
Some of the plot points were a bit laboured. As were the red herrings, however, that did not stop my enjoyment of this promising first book in the series.
