Broken Bones by John Carson is the first book in a new series featuring DCI Liam Brodie.

This is an intense story of various murders. The author weaves his plot with its many twists and turns expertly, and it is a real page turner.  I liked the various characters. I enjoyed the humour in the story.

I am looking forward to book 2!
