One of her clients is Annie, whose story captures her imagination and sends Henrietta into investigation mode. She wants to unravel the mysteries of Annie's life before it is too late.

The author makes her characters fallible and very human and weaves a fantastic yet realistic story full of secrets and lies.

This was a fascinating, heartwarming tale that will keep you turning the pages far into the night.
