THE LAST DRUID

He left his staff propped up against
the stone cross as he sank to the
ground, fearing this would be his last
burial as the area's Druid priest. 

The wild man he had once been was
long gone. The daily grind that ages
us all had split him in two. Physical
life versus his deep spiritual inner life.

These Celtic lands had given him the
room to grow. Wild lands with space
to develop his rich, sacred inner spirit.
Pulling up his hood, he closed his eyes.

Druids from this place and earth itself!
