Comfort zones can restrict the light
From flowing through you in flight.
As your mind grows as is its right,
Boredom will never be your plight.

Sometimes you just have to fight
Against the mundane, the burial site
Of new ideas, so magic will ignite
Your creativity to attain its full height.

As a survivor you rise and rise again,
The whole world is yours to gain.
If you rise high above that heavy pain
That will your spirit and energy drain.

So don't slip into that rut, that bane
Of too much comfort that will explain
And create excuses that will readily rain
Down on you like a concrete chain.

Seek the unusual, seek out the new.
Give it a go, that's what you should do.
Especially when you are down or blue
It's important to paddle your own canoe!

Ignore naysayers, they haven't a clue,
Take up a hobby, learn something new.
It's always time to give life a review,
You just have to keep pushing through.
