Because people are enigmas.
Clothed in skin and bone with
Depths of mental perception,
Ever more confusing and hard
For others to decipher, and 
Gain any sort of understanding.
Heaven and Hell enacted daily.
Indiscriminate hurting of others,
Just because they can inflict pain.
Knowledge often clouds the issue,
Logic goes straight out of the window.
Mind games are employed in order to
Never reach a mutual understanding.
Often relying on those family ties.
Psychology of experts don't help the
Quest for any sort of reconciliation.
Right and wrong are still subjective,
Society's rules obeyed or broken.
The rule of law there to guide
Us and stop us killing each other.
Vexatious claims and counter claims
Waylay the world weary life traveller.
Xyloid ideas that never change,
Youth to old age without growing up.
Zetetic hearts always seeking the truth.
