Human nature can be treacherous. 
Some people have a capacity to hurt,
And others a heart full of forgiveness.

Who really benefits from forgiveness?
Is it the betrayer who is so treacherous?
Or the wounded who are so often hurt?

Letting go is the secret to healing hurt.
The true benefits from their forgiveness,
Release the hold of the treacherous.

Although humans have a capacity for the treacherous, they also have a capacity for forgiveness, and in the letting go begins the healing of the hurt.
