is on repeat, war, and
peace and war again

sabre rattling and threats
will we ever learn?

as the rich get richer and
the poor get poorer

the poor get poorer 
as the rich get more power
who listens to us?

who listens to us?
as apathy spreads like a
disease in life

disease in life
causes many deaths
we probe science

we probe science 
with billions of dollars
a new telescope

dark matter and energy
shining a light on
