Kate Frost's The Butterfly Storm is a heartfelt romance written with realism at its heart.
The author's detailed and vivid descriptions of both Greece and Norfolk make you feel as if you are there.
The threads of past and present relationships are woven together to form the end of the story.
The characters are realistic and flawed and there has to be several reckonings before Sophie is able to make her peace with her mother and her past.
The Greek 'mummy's boy' trope felt a little clichĂŠd but didn't detract too much from what was a really good story.
