The Cloisters by Katy Hays reads like a gothic novel as we are taken on a story of ancient and modern within the world of museums and academia.

The summer that Ann Stilwell spends at The Cloisters in New York will change her life forever. As she is drawn grieving for the death of her father into these hallowed halls, she becomes embroiled in secrets, lies, and the ever-present mystery of the Tarot.

Very well researched this is a joy to read, as each secret is revealed in the stifling New York summer heat.
