It has been quite a while since I read a collection of Short Stories. Best British Short Stories 2025 edited by Nicholas Royle did not disappoint.
I found the stories (with only one exception) engaging, interesting and thought provoking. All of life's actual and imagined rich patterns were here.
I am glad to see the art of short story writing is not only alive and well but thriving. I like the dipping in and out nature of this type of book.
I also enjoyed the short biographies of the participants which I am sure will promote more reading.
☆☆☆☆recommended reading.
