What a joy it was to return to Martin Edwards' Lake District Series of crime novels.
Having read the five previous novels in the series, I found The Frozen Shroud, an engaging and interesting twisting together of an old murder/ghost story and two more modern murders.
Daniel Kind uses his talents as a historian, and DCI Hannah Scarlett uses her cold case expertise as they try to solve these murders.
