OK, here is my latest gripe! In the summer, we had opportunist thieves going round, trying our doors. So with my landlord's permission I installed a video doorbell camera.
Why, when the doorbell lights up as callers approach do they (always men) knock on the door instead of ringing the bell?
The bell is connected to Alexa, who tells me someone is at the door. As I am deaf I find this very useful. If someone just knocks and I am in any other room than the living room, I don't hear them even with my hearing aids in.
I know common sense is as rare as hens teeth, but come on, if there is a doorbell, It is there for a reason. PLEASE USE IT!
