Alexandra Walsh's The Boleyn Curse is a well researched historical fiction story interwoven with historical fact. Told via the trope of past and present timelines, this is a masterful story of love, revenge, and betrayal, spiced up with touches of witchcraft and ancient curses.
The present-day cast of characters blend well with the real historical characters, as do both stories. This was a book that kept me turning the pages as I was enthralled by Elizabeth Boleyn's imagined story. This is a highly recommended read from a natural born storyteller!
