In the quietness of silence
I have a boundary – a fence,
Away from life's pain,
Without awkward strain,
All to gain,
In silence.
When the world becomes much too tense,
I leave it behind with a sense
Of relief – that stain
On my mind – my brain
that will wane
in disdain.
