After life, death is inevitable.
Beginnings and endings follow a
Cyclical pattern, just like nature.
During birth we emerge helpless
From our mothers' wombs and we
Grow into children. Lively and
Happy, lonely, sometimes sad.
Indicators of adult life to come.
Joy in love and happy marriage,
Killed by 'domestic' violence.
Left to bleed out and die alone.
Men who cannot control that
Need to overpower and destroy.
Other women rise up and will
Protest against this heinous crime.
Queens will support the cause
Realising that as women we all
Share those dangerous moments
That hold our lives in the balance.
Undetered we survivors call out
Very loudly to our sisterhood like the
Witches who where burnt by
Xenophobic and misogynistic men.
You must change your sons' upbringing
Zero tolerance for rape and violence.
